HISTORY

The Manitoba Paramedic Honour Guard was formed in the Fall of 2007, with eight members forming the initial Guard.  Members participated in drill training and were fitted for uniforms.  Membership presently comes from across Manitoba, allowing us to say that the Honour Guard does truly represent the Province of Manitoba Emergency Medical Services.  The Guard positions are voluntary and do require hundreds of volunteer hours by the members.  Since it's beginning, Guard members have volunteered time for travel, drill, fundraising, administration and formal events.
